Boise resident Kristina B. Ross appears to have enjoyed a very peculiar hobby. In early November Ross was arrested after several people complained that she had approached women in local night clubs and touched their breasts under the guise of conducting a medical exam.

Ross claimed to be a plastic surgeon named Berlyn Aussieahshowna, and she allegedly told victims that she could provide various cosmetic enhancements. Ross is accused of practicing medicine without a license, which is a felony.

Were this charge to be applied even-handedly, the police would conduct wholesale arrests at Boise Airport, TSA employees are physically molesting innocent people in exactly the same fashion. None of these federal employees is a licensed physician, and the law specifically forbids sexual battery of this kind.

Six years ago, an Appleton woman named Phyllis Dintenfass was found guilty of assault. Offended after being groped by a female TSA employee, Dintenfass retaliated in kind.

Sexual battery is a crime, irrespective of the identity of the perpetrator.
